ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Steph Balzer, MFA, CPCC, ACC is founder of Mission and a consultant with EAC & Associates. Previously, Steph worked as a reporter for The Phoenix Business Journal before earning her MFA in creative writing and poetry from The University of Arizona. She’s held leadership and communications positions at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, the University of Arizona Foundation, and the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona. She has also served as executive director of two community arts nonprofits in Tucson.

 As a coach, she is certified through the Coactive Training Institute and the International Coaching Federation. Her studies also include team and systems coaching with CRR Global, emotional intelligence with Daniel Goleman, and positive psychology with Shirzad Chamine.

She is a freelance journalist and is founder and publisher of Cento, a journal on contemporary civics, coaching, nonprofits, and the self.
